MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
After an opening prayer from one of
the members, the minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed
MIN. 2/18 MATTERS ARISING FROM
PREVIOUS MINUTES
The issue of
the Market cleaning as the main group activity of the year that failed to happen as
planned in December 2018 was raised. On motion duly made, seconded and
unanimously adopted, It was resolved that
The Market cleaning that failed to happen in 2018 is the main activities the group will condct in the second half of the year 2019.

3/ 18 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
A member of the group urged the
colleagues on vitality of renewing membership annually at KES. 50. On motion
duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, it was resolved that,
The membership renewal was accepted as one of the ways to raise funds for the group activities
hence members to keep relaying their renewal fees every year.

4/18 THE 2019 KUCSO CSR
The members settled on three activities as the main 2019 KUCSO CSR.
The first two will happen during the first half of the year. These will be
1.
The mentorship program
2.
The Ficha Uchi campaign initiative.
One of the members Tony Lwal, who is also the Secretary for the Ficha Uchi committee agreed to
merge his program entails the provision of shoes to the vulnerable with our two activities so that
we do them together in May, 2019.

5/18 WEEKLY CONTRIBUTIONS OF KES.20
A member suggested that members to
dig into their pockets every week to contribute at least KES 20 to facilitate
the groups cash flow that may aid in time of need.
On motion duly made, seconded and
unanimously adopted, it was resolved that
Every member to make a weekly contributions
of 20/= that shall be relayed directly to the Treasurer.
The weekly contribution is to build the group account in order to ensure no plan fails in the future
due to financial deficits.
The weekly contributions of KES 20
was agreed to be effective from January 1, 2019

6/2018 OPENNING KUCSO BANK ACCOUNT
As stipulated in the constitution,
the KUCSO executive made an assurance that by January 7th 2019 the
account shall be operational and MPESA payment till number functioning to facilitate
member’s contributions and payments to the group.
The move was backed up by the
majority as it is a secure and easy way on group’s financial accountability and
transparency.
The members were urged to stick to
MPESA payments/contributions as from the effective date and screenshot/and
forward the transaction message to the treasurer for the record update.

7/ 18 PROJECT COMMITTEE
The KUCSO project
committee was formed at the meeting.
The committee will look to come up with a viable project from which the organizations can suce consistent financial inflows.
The committee will sit down and bring forward a suggested project for scrutiny by the members.

8/18 ELECTION OF 2019 OFFICE BEARERS
As provided for in the constitution
KUCSO conducted its general elections. The election was conducted by the electoral commission chaired by
Quinter Omalla.

9/18 ISSUING OF YALI CERTIFICATES
KUCSO members were issued with Young
African Leaders Initiative Certificates on Community Organizing for Action with
regards to excellent work the Organization is undertaking in the society.
MIN. 10/18 ANY OTHER BUSINESS
i.
One
member suggested that the organization to organize for a retreat at the end of
every year.
ii.
The
other member said that the Treasurer should in future show the members a a
documented comprehensive statement of account in a hard copy to ease members
uncertainties.
There being no any other item of
discussion, the then acting Chairperson declared the meeting adjourned at 6.10
PM.
