THE 2019 DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEMBERS

 The 2019 Kochia Universities and Colleges Students Organization development committee functions are set as follows;

1. Prepare and adopt the KUCSO elements of the Economic and Community Plan (ECP).
2. Implement or arrange for the implementation of the KUCSO elements of the ECP.
3. Review the ‘community elements’ of the plan and amend as considered necessary.
4. Monitor and review implementation of the community elements and revise actions and strategies as appropriate.
5. Coordinate the management and oversee the implementation of the program that has been approved by the KUSO.
6. Ensure effectiveness, coordination, consistency in the development program.
7. Optimize resources for the benefit of KUCSO society and local communities and improve the efficiency.
8. Consider and adopt a statement in respect of the economic elements of the Plan of KUCSO
9. Prepare and submit developmental report on the proposal in relation to the performance of its functions.

Ongeti pry School to benefit from KUCSO Uniforms for needy pupils (ZIBA UCHI)

Ongeti Primary School is a Public Primary school. It is located in Rangwe Constituency, East Kochia Location, Lower Nyokal Division within the Homa Bay District of Homa Bay County in the Nyanza Province of Kenya. It is a Day Only school for both Boys and Girls that caters to Ordinary Students. Learning is carried out through a Kenyan Curriculum.

MORE than 20 children from Ongeti Primary School who come from disadvantaged backgrounds shall receive school uniforms from The Kochia Universities and Colleges Students organisation which is based in Kochia Ward, this coming month of May
The CBO, KUCSO was formed with view to help children with challenges ranging from learning difficulties to social problems.
In doing so, the organisation hopes to create a balance between rich and poor children and eventually make them feel equal.

We pleaded with all local residents and business people to assist with donating uniforms to the disadvantaged to enhance an enabling environment for our young pupils to study.

“As KUCSO, We want to boost every child’s confidence at an early age and make sure that they excel. Our assistance is also directed to help children with learning difficulties.” 
“This will definitely change recipient’s lives, our kids will no longer see themselves as different from other children.”

The CBO, KUCSO  will soon visit other primary schools considered for the program.
As KUCSO, we encourage children to live a healthy lifestyle by ensuring that they acquire basic educational necessities.

MAY 2019 MENTORSHIP PROGRAM LOGISTICS

The Executive would wish to inform the esteemed members that mentorship program for this year, 2019 shall begin on APRIL 29, 2019 to May 10, 2019.

The 2019 program shall be conducted in the following schools

primary schools

4. Otolo Pry School

Secondary schools

1.  Ligisa Secondary School

2.  Bakhita girls Sec. School

3. Odienya Mixed secondary school,

4. Lwaho Mixed secondary School, 

5. God Bondo Secondary School, 

6. Olare Mixed  Secondary School

7. Kwoyo Kochia Secondary School

    

   Generally, a total of 11 schools in Kochia are to be attend to by the KUCSO team for the 2019 Mentorship Program.
